Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("terms") govern your use of the Fiskal mobile app and the services behind it (together, the "service"). By creating an account or using Fiskal, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

• Operator: Fiskal is operated by an individual (no registered company) — Milos Micunovic, Vojina Katnica 19, Podgorica, Montenegro ("we", "us").

• Age: Fiskal is intended for adults. You must be at least 16 years old to use it.

How we handle your personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of your agreement with us.

Fiskal is a personal-finance app with a single purpose: showing you where your money goes, down to the item, broken down by category and tag. You can add receipts by scanning a fiscal QR code, photographing a receipt, or typing them in manually; the app organises the items so you can see your spending by category, tag, and budget, alone or with your household.

Fiskal records what you have already spent. It does not connect to your bank, does not track income, and does not move money.

• You need an account to use Fiskal. Sign-in is offered with Google, with Apple, or with email and password.
• You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in method secure, and for activity that happens under your account.
• The information you provide must be accurate, and the account must be yours — accounts are personal and not transferable.
• You can delete your account at any time from the app's Privacy settings, or at fiskal-app.com/account-delete. Deletion is permanent; what happens to shared household data is described in §4 and in the Privacy Policy.

Fiskal is built around a shared household: a private data space created for you at signup, which you can open to others by invite.

• Shared visibility: everyone in a household can see, add to, and edit all of that household's data — bills, items, tags, budgets, and rules. Only invite people you are comfortable sharing this with.
• Invites: you can invite others with a single-use, time-limited invite code. Joining a household gives you access to its data from that point on; your previous household's data stays where it is.
• Leaving: if you leave a household, the data you contributed stays with that household — it is not moved or deleted.
• You are responsible for what you add to a shared household, and household members are jointly responsible for how they use the shared data.

The core of Fiskal is free: capturing bills (QR scan and manual entry), organising items with categories and tags, budgets, spending breakdowns, and household sharing.

Fiskal AI is the paid tier. It unlocks the AI-powered features:

• Reading receipts from a photo.
• Automatic categorisation and tidying of item names.
• AI Smart Sort, including re-sorting your existing bills.
• Creating and editing tag rules that auto-apply your tags.

Capture is never locked: even without Fiskal AI you can always scan and type in bills — they are just not categorised automatically. Which features sit behind the subscription may evolve over time; the paywall in the app always shows what is included before you buy.

Fiskal AI is sold as an auto-renewing subscription, purchased inside the app through your app store (Google Play on Android; Apple App Store on iOS, where available).

• Plans: a monthly plan (renews every month) and a yearly plan (renews every 12 months).
• Price: the exact price, in your local currency, is shown in the app at the point of purchase, before you confirm. Payment is charged to your app-store account when you confirm the purchase.
• Auto-renewal: the subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Household benefit: Fiskal AI unlocks the AI features for the household in which it was activated, so the people you share with benefit too.
• Price changes: if a subscription price changes, the store will notify you in accordance with its rules before the new price applies; where required, the change takes effect only with your consent.
• One subscription is enough: do not purchase a second subscription for a household that already has an active one — the paywall reflects your current status.

• We may offer promotional discounts (for example, a percentage off a subscription plan) or promo codes that grant discounted or free access to Fiskal AI, including codes granting long-term ("lifetime") access.
• Offers and codes may be limited in number, in time, by platform, or to specific users; each code is subject to the conditions communicated with it, is not redeemable for cash, and cannot be resold.
• "Lifetime" access means access to the Fiskal AI features for as long as the Fiskal AI service is offered — it is tied to the service's lifetime, not to yours.
• We may withdraw an offer or invalidate a code that is abused, resold, or issued in error.

• Cancel anytime in your app store's subscription settings (Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions; App Store → Subscriptions). The app's subscription screen links you there.
• Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep Fiskal AI until the end of the period you already paid for; no further charges are made after that.
• Uninstalling the app or deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — cancel it in the store first, or the store will keep billing you.
• Refunds for purchases made through an app store are handled by that store under its refund policy; we cannot issue refunds for store-billed purchases ourselves. Amounts already paid for a started billing period are generally not refunded.
• If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases; where you bought through an app store, exercise it through that store.

The bills, items, receipt photos, tags, budgets, and rules you add are your content. You retain any rights you hold in it.

• You grant us the limited license needed to operate the service: to store your content, sync it between your devices, share it within your household, and process it — including through the AI features described in the Privacy Policy — solely to provide Fiskal's functionality to you.
• We claim no ownership of your content and do not use it for advertising or sell it. Receipt photos are handled as described in the Privacy Policy (kept on your device, never stored on our servers).
• You are responsible for having the right to add the content you add — in particular for content you place into a shared household.
• You can export your data from the app (Privacy → Export your data) and take it with you.

Use Fiskal for what it is: tracking your own household's spending. You agree not to:

• Use the service for anything unlawful, or add content you have no right to add.
• Probe, overload, disrupt, or gain (or attempt to gain) unauthorised access to the service, other users' data, or our backend — including bypassing the subscription checks or abusing the AI endpoints.
• Use automated tooling to scrape the service or to make bulk AI requests outside the app's normal operation.
• Reverse engineer, copy, resell, or redistribute the service, except where the law expressly permits it.
• Misuse invite codes or promo codes (§7), or misrepresent who you are.

Fiskal's AI features read receipt text and suggest categories, cleaned-up names, and tags. AI output is a best-effort suggestion, not a guarantee:

• Extracted text, prices, and categories may be incomplete or wrong — receipts are messy. Review what matters; everything the AI fills in can be corrected by you, and your corrections take precedence.
• Item prices are never invented: when a price cannot be read, it is left unallocated rather than guessed.
• The spending breakdowns Fiskal shows are only as accurate as the bills recorded in it.

The Fiskal app, its design, branding, logo, and underlying software are ours and are protected by intellectual-property law. These terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for its intended purpose; they do not transfer any ownership to you. Your content remains yours (§9).

Parts of the service are delivered by third parties, each under their own terms:

• App stores: purchases and subscription billing run through Google Play or the Apple App Store, under their terms and refund policies.
• Google Firebase: authentication and data hosting (see the Privacy Policy).
• AI processing: receipt reading and categorisation run through Fiskal's own backend, which uses a cloud AI model (see the Privacy Policy §5.2).
• Montenegro Tax Administration: fiscal-QR lookups query the government's public invoice-verification service; its availability and accuracy are outside our control.

• By you: stop using the app at any time, and delete your account in the app or at fiskal-app.com/account-delete. Remember to cancel any active subscription in the store first (§8).
• By us: we may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms (for example §10), if we are required to by law, or if the service is discontinued. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and give you the chance to export your data.
• Sections that by their nature should survive termination (your content rights, disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) survive it.

We work to keep Fiskal reliable, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available":

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that AI output is accurate (§11). Features may change, be added, or be removed as the app evolves; we will not remove your ability to access your recorded data while your account exists.
• Fiskal depends on third-party infrastructure (§13); outages there can affect the app. Offline capture keeps working and syncs when you reconnect.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, or loss of data caused by events outside our reasonable control, and our total liability for claims arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law — including your statutory rights as a consumer, which remain unaffected.

We may update these terms as the app evolves. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app before the changes take effect. If you keep using Fiskal after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply; if you do not agree with a change, stop using the service and delete your account.

These terms are governed by the law of Montenegro. If you are a consumer, you additionally keep the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country you live in, and nothing in this section takes away your right to bring a claim in your home courts where the law gives you that right.

If any part of these terms turns out to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
